Why one month is not enough
Protected status depends on the applicable eligibility rule and consumption history. A current reading below 200 units does not automatically restore or prove protected status.
Where to look
- Tariff or consumer category printed on the bill
- Protected or unprotected indicator
- Previous consumption history where provided
- Provider clarification if the printed status appears inconsistent
The 200/201-unit boundary
The tariff snapshot has different supported bands, but the calculator will not turn a protected selection into an unprotected one merely because current units cross a number. It stops and asks for the correct category.
