Solar planning—not a sales quote

Start with the units you actually use

Every price, tariff and generation assumption can be replaced with your own evidence.

The default yield is a broad planning value. Use PVGIS or a qualified site assessment for your exact location, tilt and shading.

Your solar plan

A range—not one sales number.

Calculate to see panel count, energy flow, cost, savings and payback under conservative, base and strong scenarios.

  • Use units instead of bill amount.
  • Replace the cost with a real quote.
  • Keep import and export values separate.

Why units come first

Your bill amount mixes energy with taxes and adjustments.

Solar generation offsets energy. Using monthly units avoids pretending that every rupee on an issued bill can be removed by panels.

What a quote must confirm

Roof, load profile and agreement details still matter.

A qualified installer should verify shading, structure, sanctioned load, equipment, protections, warranties and your DISCO’s current interconnection process.

Policy boundary

Existing and new prosumer agreements may not be treated alike.

The calculator leaves import value and export credit editable because the applicable mechanism can depend on the agreement and current notified rules. Confirm the latest position in the NEPRA legal register before making a purchase.
